The City of Hudson Department of Youth since 1946 has provided a diverse mix of recreation programs and activities year round for all age groups. The City is and has been the only full time year round provider of such services to the city and surrounding areas. We also deal with a variety of youth services, which is targeted towards the special interests and needs of today's youth. We work closely with the Columbia County Youth Bureau, Hudson City School District, and with various other youth service agencies, school districts, and civic groups.

The Hudson Youth Center is a structured, educational, fun environment for youth ages 7-18. We offer a variety of programs including but not limited to, hip hop dance, tutoring by a certified teacher, piano lessons, computer classes, and yoga, and wide variety of field trips. We also provide free snacks and dinners for all members.
